Shawn Mendes and Hailee Steinfeld share stunning acoustic version of 'Stitches'

Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has treated his fans to a special acoustic rendition of his latest single 'Stitches'.

The heartthrob recorded a special stripped back version of the track as a duet with songstress and 'Pitch Perfect' actress Hailee Steinfeld for his followers and unveiled it earlier this evening on his social media platforms.

Mendes, meanwhile, recently opened up about his experience of fame so far and told B96 Chicago that he can still walk around and go to the mall, but people do tend to recognise him now:

"Totally, I think that I'm a firm believer in... as long as, like, you don't put yourself... I can go anywhere I want and if people want to take pictures or say hi - they can. We're all humans - it doesn't matter what type of career you have. It doesn't stop me from doing regular person things, it's just a little different!"
