Carly Rae Jepsen has treated fans to a new song.

The singer has unveiled the track 'Warm Blood' as the latest cut from her upcoming album 'Emotion'.

The record is due to be released in the US on August 21.

However, fans in the UK will have to wait until September 25 to get their hands on it.

Jepsen meanwhile recently opened up on the "stigma" that comes with being a pop star.

She said: "I’m aware that I am defined by ‘Call Me Maybe’ to other people. Part of why I took so long with this album was seriously taking time to change my thinking, so it wasn’t about proving anything.

"There’s a stigma attached to being a pop artist that you don’t write or you’re in the room and get credit but you didn’t do anything."
