Actress and singer Lucy Hale has revealed that she often used to be mistaken for Selena Gomez and didn't have the heart to disappoint the star's fans so would go along with it and pretend she was her. 

During a new interview on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' this week, the 'Pretty Little Liars' beauty confessed that she wouldn't correct people when they mistook her for Gomez and instead would just oblige and pose for photos with fans:

"When I was young it was always Selena Gomez... I thought it was really cool at the time because it was when she was dating Justin Bieber, and I would put on my sunglasses and people would actually come up to me and think I was her. And I would actually pose for the pictures. I would go with it. I couldn’t tell them I wasn’t Selena.”

Earlier this spring, Hale opened up about her role on 'Pretty Little Liars' and confessed that she wants to ride it out until the show comes to an end: "I'll ride out 'Pretty Little Liars' until it's dead because that has been such a launching pad for me and genuinely love and like the people I work with and I love the characters. Mainly, I'm just curious to see what happens!"
