Tyler, The Creator has asked Zayn Malik for a collaboration.

The Odd Future rapper took to Twitter on Sunday (August 9) to reach out to the former One Direction man.

It seems the US star is looking to create tracks of substance - not just singles.

Tyler, The Creator said: "HI @zaynmalik I HAVE BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENTALS AND YOU HAVE A VOICE LETS FIGURE THIS OUT MY GUY.

"EPIC ALBUM CUTS THO NO RADIO SINGLES."

Malik recently confirmed that he has signed a solo contract with RCA.

The singer left One Direction in March in order to live more like a "normal 22-year-old".
