Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes has revealed that he hopes he's still enjoying a career within the music industry in 10 years' time. 

Mendes took to his official Twitter page this evening (August 12) and told his followers that he loves to look back at music videos he shot in the past and would be excited to look back over years worth of work with pride and gratitude:

"Looking back at videos of me a year ago and i looked like the biggest dork lmao. It's gonna be really cool if I'm still doing music 10 years from now to watch videos from this year. Well, I have to be doing music 10 years from now - got no back up plan LOL."

The 'Stitches' sensation went onto add: "Don't want to do anything other than music anyway!"
