1D's drummer Josh Devine: 'I'm with those lads until the end'

One Direction's drummer, Josh Devine, has revealed that he will stick with the lads until they decide to call it a day because he is dedicated to performing with them.

Speaking to Billboard this week, the percussionist explained how he came to be part of the boys' live line-up: "One day I woke up and I had a phone call from Chris Leonard -- he wrote 'Lego House' [with] Ed Sheeran."

"He was putting together at the time a band for this new boy band who had just come off a TV thing, and they asked me if I'd be interested, and of course I'd accepted."

He went onto admit that he has been working on his debut EP, entitled 'Through the Fire', which is set to be released on August 24, but he won't abandon the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrobs for his own career:

"I'll always play for One Direction as a drummer as long as they want me to. I'm with them till the end. Drumming is my passion at the end of the day."
