Jordin Sparks has plans to record a country album in the future

Songstress Jordin Sparks has revealed that she loves country music and hopes to one day make a country record.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the beauty confessed that her passion for the genre will push her to record a country album in the future: "I love country music. One day I will do a country album-I will. The timing will just have to be right."

She features on country star's Thomas Rhett's forthcoming album, 'Tangled Up', and confessed that it was intimidating because one of country's most legendary singers listened to her work: "When Thomas and his team called and asked me to be a part of it I was so excited. The song itself is beautiful. It's called 'Playing With Fire' and it's a ballad that's just so great."

"Reba [McEntire] walked in when I was doing my part! She listened to it-that was actually pretty nerve-wrecking, having someone like her listen to your song when it isn't even finished-but she loved it. I can't wait for people to hear it."
