Miley Cyrus not into joining Taylor Swift's squad: 'I like real people'

Miley Cyrus says she doesn't harbour any interest in becoming a member of Taylor Swift's powerful squad of famous friends.

The '1989' star has formed a close alliance with a number of high-profile women, such as Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid.

However, Cyrus told the New York Times that she likes to spend her time with "real" people, rather than only with "musicians, actresses, models and entrepreneurs".

She said: "I'm not trying to be in the squad.

"None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason, other than I just like real people, living real lives."
