Sigala's 'Easy Love' is at No.1 during today's UK singles chart update

Sigala’s club anthem 'Easy Love' could be heading for the top of the Official Singles Chart this week.

The track, which samples the Jackson 5’s 1970 Top 10 hit 'ABC', leads the way on today’s Official Chart Update, pushing last week’s leader 'What Do You Mean' by Justin Bieber down to No.2.

'Easy Love' by Sigala – aka British producer Bruce Fielder – leaps 70 places on today’s update, after entering the Top 100 at No.71 last week based on streams alone. Elsewhere in today’s Top 5, Jess Glynne’s 'Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself' is at No.3, Calvin Harris & Disciples’ 'How Deep Is Your Love' holds firm at No.4, and The Weeknd’s 'Can’t Feel My Face' is at No.5.

Swedish production duo Galantis could be landing their second Top 10 this week as 'Peanut Butter Jelly' leaps seven places to No.8 this afternoon. The track first entered the Top 40 three weeks ago and follows the No.4-peaking 'You & I'.

Norwegian DJ Kygo starts at No.16 today with his brand new Ella Henderson collaboration 'Here For You', Birdy’s 'Wings' rebounds 15 places to No.21, and Rita Ora and Chris Brown’s 'Body On Me' is up five spots and back at its original chart peak at 23.

Finally, Jess Glynne’s 'Hold My Hand' looks set to re-enter the Top 40 this week, currently up 12 places to No.35, and Taylor Swift’s 'Wildest Dreams' could be making its Top 40 debut this week as the song vaults 31 places to No.38.
