Wolf Alice have performed a One Direction cover for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.

The group ran through a rocked-up version of the boyband's 2014 track 'Steal My Girl' for the network today (September 7).

The live rendition received a mixed reaction from fans, with some devotees questioning their decision to cover a mainstream pop group.

Wolf Alice meanwhile will soon embark on a UK tour.

The run will kick off in Bristol on September 16 before concluding at London's Brixton Academy ten days later.

The group will also play in cities such as Sheffield and Southampton.
