Years & Years have confirmed a series of UK tour dates for next year.

The British group will play some of their first headline arena gigs as part of the March and April run.

The band will open things at the Ironworks in Inverness on March 28 before heading to Glasgow.

The first arena date on the tour will take place at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on April 1.

Further arena dates will take place in cities such as Bournemouth and London.

Tickets will go on sale from 9am UK time on Friday (October 16). Check out the full tour below:

• March 29 - Academy, Glasgow
• April 1 - Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
• April 2 - Apollo, Manchester
• April 4 - BIC, Bournemouth
• April - Pavilions, Plymouth
• April 6 - Oasis, Swindon
• April 8 - Wembley SSE Arena, London
