Hozier has confirmed a headline appearance at Dublin's 3Arena.

The singer-songwriter will perform at the venue on December 23.

The gig is taking place for the RTÉ 2fm Xmas Ball.

Also on the bill are Little Green Cars, The Riptide Movement, Gavin James, Ryan Sheridan and Hudson Taylor.

Tickets will go on sale from 9am local time on October 23.

Proceeds will go towards the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Hozier meanwhile released his self-titled debut album in 2014.

It peaked at No.1 in the UK and at No.2 in the US with the help of hit single 'Take Me To Church'.
