Ed Sheeran on new album: 'I'm nervous about how it'll be received'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has opened up about his follow-up to latest album 'x' and confessed that it's very "dear" to him because he poured his heart and soul into the lyrics and music.

During a new interview with Billboard, the star admitted that it's a much more personal offering so he will be affected if people dislike it:

“So this is my little baby. Normally I don’t care much about what people think of my music. If you love it, awesome; if you don’t, go and listen to something else.’ But this time is different. This project is a lot more dear to me. I’m nervous about how it’s going to be received.”

The 'Photograph' star was also asked about his current relationship status and admitted that dating is hard when the world's media trails your every move: “I just never want to be public. It always, always backfires. I really wish I could disappear at moments that I’m with a significant other. It’s none of anyone’s f---ing business.”
