Shawn Mendes named one of the 30 Most Influential Teens by TIME
'Stitches' sensation Shawn Mendes has been included in TIME magazine's 30 Most Influential Teens list.
The singer, who launched an incredible career from Vine, was hand-picked because of his amazing success and global rise to fame. TIME explains:
"The Vine star—with some 4.3 million followers—has spent the past year making an outsize mark on the music industry. In April, his debut album, Handwritten, topped the Billboard 200, making him the youngest artist to achieve this feat since Justin Bieber. Then he scored a slot as an opening act on Taylor Swift’s blockbuster tour. And now, his most recent single, “Stitches,” is cracking Top Tens in the U.S., Canada, Sweden and more."
Other teens that feature on the list include both Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Zendaya, Malia Obama, Jaden Smith, and dancer Maddie Ziegler. Mendes, meanwhile, has also just been included in Billboard's 21 Under 21 list.
