Adele's 'Hello' set for second week atop UK Official Singles Chart

It looks like Adele’s 'Hello' won’t be saying goodbye to the No.1 spot on the UK's singles chart any time soon.

Last week, the singer-songwriter’s record-breaking comeback became the biggest UK chart-topper in three years, as well as setting a new one-week streaming record, racking up over 7.32m listens in its first week available.

Storming towards its second week at the Official Singles Chart summit, 'Hello' is currently 45,000 combined chart sales ahead of its nearest competitor, Justin Bieber’s 'Sorry' (at No.2). Elsewhere, Sam Smith’s Bond theme song 'Writing’s On The Wall' climbs one place to No.3 today, followed by KDA’s 'Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)' feat. Tinie Tempah & Katy B, up two places to No.4 and The Weeknd’s 'The Hills', which holds firm at No.5.

Ariana Grande is on course to score her fourth UK Top 20 this week with 'Focus' (No.6), trailed by Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies, who’s heading for a second with 'Reality' feat. Janieck Devy (No.16).

Lethal Bizzle & Stormzy’s new collaboration 'Dude' starts at No.25 this week, while US newcomer Pia Mia’s 'Touch' lands at No.30. Finally, following this weekend’s Halloween celebrations, Michael Jackson’s 'Thriller' climbs 149 places to re-enter the Official Singles Chart Update Top 40 at No.35.
