Charlie Simpson explains his decision to reunite with BustedYesterday it was announced that the full Busted line-up are reuniting. After years of refuting the idea of joining the pop punk group again, Charlie Simpson has now explained what changed his mind about working with his old band mates again. Speaking at the press conference to announce the Busted reunion, Simpson stated that working on new music together was what made the difference. Charlie said: “Circumstances changed. We went to Philadelphia, we wrote new music and it changed everything.” It was Charlie Simpson’s departure from Busted that brought the band to an end. Simpson left the band in 2004 to work full-time with rock outfit Fightstar whilst James Bourne and Matt Willis officially announced the break up of Busted weeks later in 2005. Bourne went on to form Son of Dork and Matt Willis pursued a solo career before the two came together to create supergroup McBusted alongside McFly. As previously announced, Busted will play a UK arena tour in 2016 and are set to record and release new music. Busted will play the following dates:
