Canadian singer-songwriter and producer, The Weeknd - real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye - appeared on stage during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which aired last night (December 8) on CBS, after being taped back in November in New York City.

The 'Earned It' singer, who cites Michael Jackson, Prince and R. Kelly amongst his biggest influences, performed his new single, 'In The Night.'

He also sang his No. 1 hit 'Can't Feel My Face' on the runway, whilst the legendary Victoria's Secret models all danced and sang along.

The Weeknd is currently dating 18-year-old Victoria's Secret model Bella hadid, sister of Gigi Hadid.

British singer Ellie Goulding and American actress and peformer Selena Gomez were also amongst this year's performers at the show.

The Weeknd's latest album 'Beauty Behind The Madness' was released earlier this year by XO and Republic Records.
