A new poll has put the likes of Zayn Malik and Harry Styles in the Top 10 of the most eligible bachelors of the world. 

Crown Clinic in Manchester reached out to 1,000 women who were asked to rank the five most important characteristics when assessing a bachelor’s eligibility. Results found that charisma ranked higher than both wealth and good looks, with ‘being a nice guy’ and having ‘great hair’ also making the list.

Asim Shamalak, a hair transplant surgeon from the Crown Clinic, explained that many men featured in the Top 10 have particularly great hair: “It’s no surprise that Prince Harry is the world’s most eligible bachelor - we all love him because he is a fun guy who doesn’t take life too seriously.

“He is also seriously handsome, particularly since growing his ginger beard. It is a great message, too, that we have two redheads in the top five with Ed Sheeran coming in at number 4. Almost all the men in the top ten have grown beards or prominent facial hair in the last five years, suggesting women really do prefer the hirsute look. The other common factor linking the top ten is that they all have great hair.”

Prince Harry came in at No.1, singer Zayn Malik finished in second place, British sensation Ed Sheeran placed at No.4, and Harry Styles came in at No.9. Check out the full list here:
