Singer Tom Parker, formerly of The Wanted fame, recently chatted to Pressparty about all things Christmas and revealed his worst memory of the festive season along with his favourite holiday song and what he wants to find under the tree this year. 

Speaking to The Official Charts a few weeks ago, Parker gave fans an update on what he has been doing since The Wanted disbanded:

"I've just been in the studio a bunch, to be honest with you. I think when you come out of a band - especially out of a boyband - it's easy to go down that singing route and be like, 'I'm going to be a solo artist,' but my passion really never was in that area. I never really wanted to be a singer or a solo artist... my passion was always in dance music."

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?

Lots to drink, lots to eat and never feel guilty for it. And of course seeing lots of your family and friends

What are you hoping to find underneath your tree?

I'm routing for some new plugins for my producing software...terribly geeky and boring I know! 

What is your worst Christmas memory and best Christmas memory?

Worst memory... getting beaten up 4 days before Christmas about 3 years ago back home after a night out. Best would be New Year's Eve in Barbados with all The Wanted boys and our girlfriends.

Have you got a favourite festive song?

Sugababes with 'Too lost In You'. Only because it reminds me of Love Actually. Wait those two answers are weird! Am I a girl?
