Mel B on her Spice Girls diary: 'The other girls won't let me publish it'

Singer Mel B, of the Spice Girls fame, has revealed that she kept diaries during the girl group's career and would love for people to read them because they are "good fun".

Speaking to Britain's Heat magazine, she admitted that the journals make for good reading although she's doubtful that the other members of the group would ever allow her to publish it publicly:

"(I kept a diary) and I would make all the girls write in it. It's in my Spice Girls storage. There's about 20 boxes of stuff. I don't think the girls would allow (me to publish it)! It's good fun reading for me. We were young, fun and out there doing our thing. Nothing in there would make me feel embarrassed because I don't really get embarrassed."

Mel B, meanwhile, recently opened up about the upcoming 20th anniversary of the Spice Girls and admitted that it would be great to do something to mark the occasion: "I think I'm the one putting all the rumours out there. To be serious, it is our 20th anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate. So hopefully something will be happening pretty soon...I can't tell you what it is yet."
