Zayn Malik says 1D haven't bothered to keep in touch: 'I got an email'

Singer Zayn Malik has revealed that while there's "no beef" between himself and the other One Direction lads, he's "not that fussed" if they maintain a friendship or not because they've made little effort to speak to him since he quit the group in March, 2015.

During a new interview with The Sunday Times Culture magazine, Malik confessed that he has barely kept in touch with the lads since leaving the boyband although one member did send him a message: "I got an email. I don't even wanna say names."

Earlier this morning, meanwhile, the heartthrob shared an image on Twitter that appears to be hinting at a release. It's a black and white photograph of himself (pictured below) and also says 'Pillowtalk' with an accompanying date of January 29, 2016.

Music mogul Simon Cowell recently confessed that he has heard some of Malik's solo material and believes it will be very successful: “I’m not interested in a single word he says, but I am interested in what he sings. I’ve heard it, it’s good, he’s going to do well.”
