The album sold 116,000 units in the format in 2015.

The record achieved the feat in just a matter of weeks, having been released on November 20.

Taylor Swift's '1989' was the second most popular, despite hitting shelves in 2014.

Pink Floyd’s iconic 1973 record 'Dark Side Of The Moon' was the third most popular record, shifting around 50,000 copies.

The Beatles’ 'Abbey Road' and Miles Davis’ 'Kind Of Blue' both sold just under 50,000 units.

Other popular vinyls in the States last year included Arctic Monkeys' 'AM' and Alabama Shakes' 'Sound & Color'.
