Touch of Sparkle charity celebrates Adam Lambert's birthday

A Touch of Sparkle, the unofficial charity project belonging to UK fans of Adam Lambert, has donated a further 50 care packs to support cancer patients in celebration of the 'Whataya Want From Me' sensation's birthday (January 29).

Melanie Hersey, one of the organisers, told Pressparty that it felt like a special way to mark the occasion and this new donation takes the total up to 350 care packages since the project began.

Lambert, meanwhile, is celebrating yet another career milestone in the USA as his single 'Ghost Town' has been certified Gold by the Record Industry Association of America, which means that the track has shifted over 500,000 units since its release. He will also bring his Original High tour to the country in February, March and April. The run will open in Huntington, New York on February 23.
