Pink: “[My dad] put me through a wall"

Pink has revealed that she thinks she would not be around today had her father not beaten her, and encourages parents to do the same to their children.

The ‘Bad Influence’ singer says that parents shouldn’t be so afraid of political correctness and give their kids a smack when they deserve it.

The singer, who was kicked out of her childhood home by her parents at 15, told Access Hollywood: “I think parents need to beat the c**p outta their kids ... I think the whole spanking thing and how it’s gotten all PC is for the birds."

“[My dad] put me through a wall; it’s the only reason I’m still alive.”

To most, this might seem quite harsh, but according to Pink: "I deserved it. I would have kicked me out when I was eight ... I was not comfortable with authority or rules. I was bad".
