Sophia Smith, who split from One Direction's Liam Payne at the end of last year, has weighed in on his rumoured relationship with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.  

Speaking to Britain's Now magazine, she admitted that the romance is pretty unusual and she is surprised that it progressed: "It’s so weird... I knew about them a little while ago, but who thought it would actually come out? I didn’t.”

Sophia went onto add that she is doing well following her split from the heartthrob: “Yeah… I’m okay. I’m all good."

After news of Liam and Cheryl broke, Ladbrokes started taking bets on the duo's relationship, with odds of 5/1 on marriage. However, they have odds of 8/11 on them breaking up. Coral meanwhile say Payne is 6/1 on to propose by the end of 2016, with a duet given odds of 2/1.
