After spending too much time apart promoting releases with their respective groups, pop power couple Marvin Humes of JLS and Rochelle Wiseman of The Saturdays have split up.

After rumours circulated about the couple's break-up, a spokesperson for Humes told MailOnline: “We can confirm reports that Marvin and Rochelle have split up. The split is amicable.”

Although the pair were only together for eight months, they had moved in together and discussed their relationship publicly with the press. Humes said to Graham Norton in July: “I wouldn’t be with her if she wasn’t The One. I don’t believe in being with someone if you don’t believe they couldn’t be that person.”

Unfortunately, clashing schedules have forced the two apart, with JLS promoting their second album ‘Outta This World’, which comes out on November 22, and Wiseman and The Saturdays out plugging their latest single ‘Higher’.
