The X Factor finalists have recorded a charity single that they will perform live on Sunday’s (November 21) show.

The single is a cover of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ and proceeds from which will go to the very worthwhile Help For Heroes charity. All sixteen acts, both current and eliminated, will reunite on stage for the performance.

The much talked about Katie Waissel, who has now been saved an astonishing four times from the bottom, said to The Sun newspaper:

“It's so amazing doing this record as we have the ability to create such awareness due to all the viewers who tune in each weekend. We can connect with them and pass on a message we believe in”

The single will be available for digital download from Sunday, November 21 and will be in stores from Monday, November 22.
