Glee’s Cory Monteith, who plays Finn on the hit U.S show, has already thought about his potential off-screen career plans.

Speaking to VH1 about his future, he explained:

“I might do construction. I really enjoyed that. It’s very tangible, and you’re outside all day. It’s good fun!”

Despite his enthusiasm for hard work, Monteith displayed no signs of wanting to leave acting and even discussed ways in which he tries to improve on his skills:

“If you’re an aspiring actor and you want a good character study, you should be a taxi driver for a while — you see a lot of characters.”

Tickets for the UK and Ireland tour of Glee Live go on presale for O2 customers on Wednesday, November 24 at 9am and general sale begins on Friday, November 26.
