Beady Eye announce UK tour

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher’s new group Beady Eye have announced that they will be embarking on their first UK tour this spring.

The band – comprising of Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock – will play six dates in three different cities next March.

A statement claimed that the shows will serve as a “first taster” of the band’s upcoming debut album.

The dates start with two shows in Glasgow on March 3 and 4 2011, then move to the Manchester Apollo for two more dates on March 6 and 7.

The last two concerts will take place on March 9 and 10 at the London Troxy.

Supporting musicians on the tour will include Matt Jones on keyboards and bassist Jeff Wootton.
