Taylor Swift was visibly embarrassed last night (November 22) when – as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno – she received a surprise and adoring performance from comedian Dane Cook.

The performance wasn’t the only surprise however, as the 38-year-old Cook proceeded to strip off his shirt to reveal what appeared to be a tattoo of the young country sensation’s face.

Cook then picked up his guitar to serenade Swift, singing: “Taylor Swift, you're a gift. Give me a lift to your heart, beating inside my chest"

Dane also managed to sneak in a plug for his new greatest hits compilation, adding: "'I Did My Best'. Download it now.

“Now back to you, Taylor Swift, stand up girl, take a bow. Show us that smile, don't be shy, I hope her fans encourage her now. Come on everybody!”

As the young ‘Speak Now’ singer blushed, Cook then roused the show’s audience into a chant: “We love you Taylor, Taylor, Taylor Swift!”
