Kanye performs new album in full

Kanye West surprised a hastily gathered crowd last night (November 23) in New York when  he performed his new album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ in its entirety.

The rapper only announced the show on Tuesday morning, mere hours before tickets went on sale online. Though the ticket’s were limited at two per person and cost $100 (£67), they sold out within minutes.

He performed all the tracks from the album, including his single ‘Power’, ‘Runaway’ and the star-studded ‘Monster’ which featured a surprise appearance by Nicki Minaj.

Celeb fans were also in the 550 strong audience, including The Roots drummer Ahmir Tompson and comedian Aziz Ansari.

Thompson took to his Twitter page after the show to congratulate West, writing: "5 star night. Whole album executed nice... Kanye killed tonight."
