Jared Leto sent 'Suicide Squad' cast shocking gifts

Actor and 30 Seconds To Mars sensation Jared Leto has revealed that he sent some very unusual gifts to his 'Suicide Squad' cast-mates.

Speaking to E! while promoting the upcoming movie at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Leto admitted that he wasn't shy about trying to "create a dynamic" with the other cast members and sent items that included used condoms, 'sticky' Playboy magazines and anal beads:

"I did a lot of things to create a dynamic - to create an element of surprise, a spontaneity and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there. The Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries."

Viola Davis, who will be in the film, recently told Vanity Fair magazine about one particular instance where Leto really got into character as The Joker: "The Joker, he did some bad things, Jared Leto did. He gave some really horrific gifts. He had a henchman who would come into the rehearsal room and the henchman came in with a dead pig and plopped it on the table and then he walked out and that was our introduction into Jared Leto.”
