Susan Boyle keeps Rihanna from No 1

Susan Boyle is holding strong at the top of the Billboard Hot 200 for another week and fending off this week’s latest releases, including Rihanna’s hotly anticipated album ‘Loud’.

The Scottish sensation even managed to best her opening week of sales, which saw her shifting 318,000 units of her holiday compilation, with 335,000 copies.

No. 2 on the US charts is Jackie Evancho, the 10-year-old runner up of ‘America’s Got Talent’ with her mini album ‘O Holy Night’ while Rihanna has landed at No. 3.

Although Rihanna's ‘Loud’ has debuted one spot lower than her 2007 effort ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, the album has shifted more copies than its predecessor and marks her best debut chart sales in the US yet.
