Counterfeit give electrifying performance at the Electric BallroomCounterfeit gave an electrifying headline performance at Camden's Electric Ballroom in London last night (April 23), proving they are as good live as they are on record. The band consists of actor-turned-musician Jamie Bower, Jimmy Craig, Sam Bower, Tristan Marmont and Roland Johnson. The punk rockers took to the stage at the iconic music venue to kick off their first European tour, only eight months into the band's career. From the moment they took to the stage, until closing their set with 'Untitled', it's clear from the crowd's reaction, that the band are set to go far and make their mark in music history. The trio were supported by the rock quartet, Bellevue Days, who are also fairly new being only two years old. Counterfeit's list of remaining tour dates can be seen below and can be bought here:
Roland Johnson told us: "Jamie has worked with Rankin for a few years and he was our first point of call when it came to choosing directors. When we play a live show we give everything we have and we wanted someone to capture that without it becoming yet another "band playing a song" video. Rankin has this energy about the way he shoots and it was a perfect fit for us as a band. The shoot was wet, dirty, tiring. Exactly what a show is like for us." Jamie Bower added: "We just want to get this out on the road and take it to as many people as humanly possible. We're prepared for fatigue." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook
