Prince dominates the entire UK albums chart top five

Prince is dominating this week's UK albums chart.

The Official Charts Company confirmed today (April 25) that its entire top five is filled with Prince albums.

The musician sadly passed away on Thursday (April 21) aged just 57.

'The Very Best Of' is No.1 on the midweek update, with 'Ultimate' placed at No.2.

'Purple Rain - OST' is No.3, with 'The Hits/The B-Sides' in at No.4.

Rounding off the top five is 'Sign O' The Times', which rises up from No.151.

Another five Prince albums feature in the top 40, with '1999' at No.18 and 'Parade' following at No.21.

'Diamonds and Pearls' is No.25, 'Hitnrun Phase One' is No.30 and 'Lovesexy' is No.39.

Elsewhere on the midweek chart, Katherine Jenkins’ 'Celebration' is a new entry at No.6, with Katy B's 'Honey' debuting at No.13.
