Rock In Rio auction sees signed instruments from Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus

South American-born festival Rock In Rio is raising funds for its charity partner by running an auction. 

It will auction off signed instruments by bands an artists who have performed live at the festival to help Amazonia Live, which aims to plant a million trees in the area around the Xingu River.

The charity has taken on 400-hectares at the headwater of the Xingu River as a 2016 project, and the area is being supported through reforestation and water preservation projects that have been taken on in conjunction with local communities.

The items, which all boast signatures, will be auctioned via eSolidar.com and include guitars and other instruments previously belonging to the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Brian May, Bryan Adams, Kaiser Chiefs, James, Miley Cyrus, Adam Lambert, Joss Stone and McFly.

At the moment, eSolidar is auctioning off an electric guitar signed by Jessie J and Mac Miller, and the bid has started at €250. The auction will end in 36 days and you can log into the site to make a bid now.
