Earlier this week, we launched a readers' poll to find the most devoted fanbase of 2016 and we can now announce the finalists. 

Hundreds of you voted for your fandoms, including Mixers, Arianators, Selenators and KatyCats, and the results are in. We will now take the five fandoms with the most votes and they will go head-to-head for the title, which will be announced on Wednesday, May 4 at 6pm UK. 

Our finalists for the Ultimate Fanbase of 2016 are the Glamberts (who secured 39% of the vote), Sam Smith's Little Sailors (who had 29% of the final vote), the 5SOS Fam (with 9%), Ed Sheeran's Sheerios (who created their own category and ended with 8% collectively), and Directioners (with 5%). 

So, what happens next? You need to click here and vote for your final winner, and we will then announce the Ultimate Fandom of 2016 later this week on Wednesday, May 4!
