The National have started work on their new albumIndie band The National unveiled their last studio album, entitled 'Trouble Will Find Me', in 2013 and they are now working on a new offering. The band's members are scattered across the globe, from New York to Paris and Los Angeles, and guitarist Aaron Dessner explained to Pitchfork that in order to create a new record they all need to be in the same place so they'll try to find a new space to write and record in: "We need a new home because everybody is scattered... we'll do the whole record there, because it'll just be fun and a good feeling. I put out a lot of records recently and I feel like I need to focus on my own music, it'll be a different thing, a really different part of your brain, and I'm excited to get back."
