Stone Roses streams up by 500% after new single release

The popularity of The Stone Roses' music on streaming services has skyrocketed following the release of the band's first single in over 20 years.

The reformed group returned with the track 'All For One' recently - and it seems it has had a massive impact on their back catalogue.

Deezer has confirmed that streams of the group's music on the platform have increased by 500% since the song's release.

The company's UK and Ireland Music Editor Sam Lee commented:

"Despite a lack of new material for two decades, The Stone Roses have continued in popularity among fans of the 90s Madchester’s music scene.

"While the release of 'All For One' has certainly divided opinion among fans, it would appear the airtime is clearly working in favour of the band with more streams than ever before on Deezer.

"Who knows, the release may have awakened a new generation to the power of Ian Brown and the boys."
