Musician Blake Shelton has revealed that finding love with Gwen Stefani has 'saved his life' after his marriage to Miranda Lambert fell apart. 

Speaking to CMT about the way they found each other romantically, the country star admitted that it was a strange circumstance, but he couldn't be happier:

"It's not something anybody could've seen coming besides God I guess because it doesn't look like it would make sense. All I can tell you is that it does. It just makes the most perfect sense for us and where we're at in our lives."

He added: "I tell people all the time, 'Gwen saved my life last year. She did. I think she'd tell you something similar about me. This thing just happened... It saved my life. Period."

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are lined up to perform a duet at this year's Billboard Music Awards, which is set to take place on May 22 in Las Vegas.
