One dead, three wounded after shooting at T.I. concert

A man has been killed and three others were left injured after a shooting took place at last night's T.I. concert at Irving Plaza in Union Square, New York City.

William Aubry, Chief of Manhattan South Detectives, gave a statement about the incident and confirmed to CBS local that the shooting took place in the third-floor green room area of the venue and that the two support acts, namely Maino and Uncle Murda, were on stage at the time.

Aubry then explained that one of the men caught in the gunfire was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. Two other men and a woman were also wounded.

CBS Local interviewed one concert-goer, who told them: “It was about to go on. We saw, like, two people up on the VIP arguing, and then everybody started running because they heard the shots. It was terrifying. We just kept running with everybody else because they were running for their lives, so we just started running, and I fell, and I got stomped on a little bit. My shoe came off.”
