Ronan Keating: 'Victoria Beckham wasn't cut out for the music industry'

Singer Ronan Keating, of Boyzone and 'The Voice' Australia fame, has revealed that he was surprised when news surfaced recently about Victoria Beckham's scrapped hip-hop album because she isn't really "cut out for the music industry".

During an interview on Australia's The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the Boyzone star weighed in on Beckham's musical skill and suggested that it might be smart for her to just focus on fashion:

“I think Victoria will tell you herself that she wasn't cut out for the music industry... She's killing it in the fashion world. Put your best foot forward. Do one thing and do it well."

Ronan Keating, meanwhile, will return to the UK for a run of live dates this autumn and his tour will kick off with a concert at the Plymouth Pavilion on September 9. He will also visit London, Bournemouth, Brighton, Glasgow and Aberdeen on the jaunt. His full schedule can be seen below.

Back in February, Keating told the Press Association that he would like to do a collaboration with Westlife to celebrate his band's 25th anniversary: "Not just Westlife, but Girls Aloud and lots of different collaborations. Never say never to those sort of things. We'll see... It'd be cool, fun, I think, to do something like that, definitely. I miss the lads at times... Next year marks our 25 years so we'll do something next year, please God."
