Skrillex on Justin Bieber lawsuit: 'Sorry, but we didn't steal this sample'

Earlier this week, news broke that a musician Casey Dienel, who uses the stage name White Hinterland, had filed a lawsuit against Justin Bieber for using a sample without permission.

Dienel explained that Bieber, Skrillex and Diplo had used a sample from her 2014 track 'Ring The Bell' without permission, but DJ and producer Skrillex has now hit back at the claims.

He shared a video to Twitter yesterday, which shows how they created the sample and he accompanied the footage with the following caption: "SORRY but we didn't steal this."

Back in July 2015, Skrillex described Bieber as a "virtuoso", telling Billboard: "Justin is a f---ing virtuoso. He’ll school you at every-thing: Ping-Pong, basketball, freestyle rapping. The kid is so competitive. Whatever he does he’s super good at, so you don’t stand a chance. It’s not even fair."
