Back in May, Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham confessed that her microphone was always switched off during live concerts, but her bandmate Mel B has now disputed her claim. 

During a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mel B admitted that she isn't sure that actually happened and thinks that her bandmate's vocals were wired through all along:

"She wishes it was turned off! We sung live, and we wrote and recorded all our music together live and we performed it live. It wasn't turned down. Not that I know of. Maybe she secretly asked for that -- I don't know about that.”

She also opened up about the group's 20th anniversary and added that they are trying to figure something out to mark the occasion: 

"It's an ongoing thing we keep talking about, and it is our 20th anniversary, so we're going to do something. We're just trying to figure that out right now. There will be something happening... We want the stage to ourselves if we're going to do it! But, I love the Backstreet Boys. They're great.”
