A Years & Years video has been censored in Russia for apparently promoting an LGBT lifestyle.

The group's recent clip for 'Desire' features singer Olly Alexander kissing another man.

They previously said they wanted the video to act as a "joyful expression of sexiness and sexuality".

However, the Brits told Digital Spy that the kiss has been blurred out in Russia, where it is illegal to promote homosexuality.

Alexander said: "Someone got in touch with me just yesterday from Russia saying that they play it, but they blur out the bit when I kiss another guy.

"It's interesting to have a dialogue with everyone online. It's been a really good and positive thing."
