Christina Grimmie's brother gives emotional eulogy at hometown vigilThe brother of Christina Grimmie has spoken in praise of his "awesome" sister at a hometown vigil held in honour of the murdered singer. Her brother tackled the gunman before he turned the weapon on himself. A hometown vigil was held in Evesham, New Jersey on Monday (June 13) in honour of Grimmie. Her brother Marcus said: "Christina was awesome. "She loved this town, she loved this state, she loved singing, she loved the Lord and she loved me. She was my baby sister." He also took time to pay tribute to the 49 people killed in the same state on Sunday morning (June 12) in a shooting at gay club Pulse. Marcus said: "About four miles away from where we were staying, there was a huge tragedy to Orlando, to the U.S. to the LGBT community and to the whole world. "I mean, 50 people dead, who knows who is injured. And I come home to this...I have no words. All of those people that died and are suffering. My heart goes out."
