Hitmaker Adam Lambert recently joined the judging panel on The X Factor in Australia and fellow panelist Guy Sebastian has revealed that the new line up is fantastic. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph about the new panel, which sees Adam Lambert and Iggy Azalea working as judges, he admitted that it's great to have new blood because it shakes up the energy of the show:

"I've gone from being the youngest to the oldest. I think that's a good thing — an injection of young opinions."

Guy Sebastian added that the new process will be "pretty brutal" and contestants are in for a tough ride: "The live shows will be culled right down; there will be heaps less. So the process will be pretty brutal. We'll have to get rid of two or three at a time."

Back in June, Lambert issued a statement on joining the panel and said that he was really excited for this new role: "I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest. Australia has always been one of my favourite places to tour. The Aussies I’ve met are so kind and good humoured - so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is very exciting."
