Rudimental, Demi Lovato and OneRepublic achieve new UK sales milestones

The British Phonographic Industry has announced its end of week awards and Rudimental are enjoying double Platinum certification thanks to sales of their album 'Home'.

The BPI shared the exciting news in a tweet, which read: "We're so happy to announce that @RudimentalUk have gone 2x Platinum with their album 'Home'! Congrats! #bpiAwards."

Platinum certification of an album is awarded only after passing the 300,000 sales mark and multi-Platinum is given to records that have achieved multiples of this figure.

OneRepublic's album 'Native' has also been awarded Platinum certification this afternoon (July 22), as has LMFAO's full-length offering 'Sorry For Party Rocking'. Demi Lovato's self-titled album, 'Demi', is now Gold, which means that it has shifted over 100,000 units in the UK since its release.
