Major Lazer set to stop Drake's charge towards UK singles chart record

It looks like Major Lazer could end Drake's bid to make UK singles chart history.

The Canadian has been at No.1 for 15 weeks with 'One Dance' - just one week shy of Bryan Adams' '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You' record.

The Official Charts Company, however, confirmed in its midweek update today (July 25) that Major Lazer's new Justin Bieber collaboration 'Cold Water' is No.1.

At No.2 on the chart is Jonas Blue's 'Perfect Strangers', with Chainsmokers' 'Don't Let Me Down' following at No.3.

Calum Scott is No.4 with 'Dancing On My Own', with Drake's previously immortal 'One Dance' slipping four places to No.5.

Bastille are up to No.15 with their recent single 'Good Grief, while Snakehips and Zayn Malik’s 'Cruel' rises to No.31.
