Zendaya on meeting Beyoncé: 'It was an honour and I freaked out'

Singer and actress Zendaya has opened up about meeting Beyoncé.

The starlet told InStyle magazine that she was on set for Beyoncé's visual album 'Lemonade' and explained that she "freaked out" when she finally came face to face with the 'Halo' icon:

"It was literally nuts because anybody who knows me knows that I’ve been obsessed with Beyonce since birth, been to every single concert that she’s ever had. It’s a true obsession. It was an honour and I freaked out. When she came and said hi to me… I never lose it that much. I was such a nerd about it."

Back in February, Zendaya opened up about her ambitions and admitted that she wants to inspire people with her positivity and insight: "I don't just sing, dance, and act because I love it. You have to have a purpose, and mine is to connect with the world, to get across messages that are important. I'd much rather be known for leaving a little stamp of positivity on one person's life than for the last project that I did."
